Starting this winter, the subsistence minimum in Ukraine will increase, which in turn will affect various payments, including pensions and subsidies. As of December 1, 2022, the subsistence minimum will be 2,684 UAH for able-bodied individuals. Consequently, the following amounts will change:
- pensions;
- the minimum wage (up to 6,700 UAH);
- child support (up to 1,136 UAH for children under 6 years old, 1,416.5 UAH for those aged 6 to 18);
- maternity benefits (at least 25% of the subsistence minimum for able-bodied citizens, and at least 671 UAH for unregistered individuals);
- unemployment benefits (the maximum amount is fixed at four subsistence minimums for able-bodied individuals, specifically 10,736 UAH per month);
- subsidies.
In addition, starting December 1, certain financial transactions are subject to financial monitoring: threshold transactions (amounts exceeding 400,000 UAH) and suspicious transactions.
