On Sunday, September 20, one of the "Eco Market" chain's warehouses was damaged. The company reported this on its Facebook page. Fortunately, none of the employees were injured, as stated in the announcement: “Our employees are safe; everyone is alive and unharmed.”

"Eco Market" stores remain open, and the company is doing everything necessary to ensure the supply of goods so that customers can continue to purchase the products they need. "We are operating under emergency conditions and are making every effort to keep the shelves stocked," the statement said. The company also expressed gratitude to its partners, rescue workers, and defenders for their assistance and support.

Earlier, AntiCredit reported that on August 20, a warehouse belonging to the “Fora” retail chain near Boryspil was damaged as a result of a Russian attack; the warehouse in Martusivka, Kyiv Oblast, stored fresh produce. The warehouse had been in operation for only a week. A warehouse belonging to Varus, the chain’s logistics partner, in Boryspil—where part of the inventory was stored—was also damaged. In addition, the attack affected the warehouse of the official representative of the French cosmetics brand Yves Rocher in Ukraine.

It was also reported that the logistics center of the Novus supermarket chain was hit by several missile strikes, and the Silpo supermarket chain reported missile strikes on two of its distribution centers, resulting in the deaths of six employees.

The FT reported that in late August and early September, major retail chains, publishing houses, pharmaceutical companies, and "Nova Poshta" were hit by Russian attacks. This caused disruptions in the supply of goods to supermarkets in Kyiv. It is noted that the attacks are putting increasing pressure on Ukrainian businesses and the country’s economy. Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi stated that the losses could amount to approximately $1.5 billion in tax revenue.

To ensure they can purchase goods during the crisis, shoppers are advised to plan their purchases in advance and consider shopping at various retail locations to avoid shortages of essential items. This information was provided by the source АнтиКредит.
