Starting January 1, company accountants must submit claims using a special form in the insured person’s personal online account on the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) portal. Starting in the new year, the PFU will be responsible for processing sick leave claims. This is also regulated by the updated law on compulsory state social insurance.
In addition, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has developed a mechanism for making payments to insured persons in the event of temporary disability. The claim form must include information on the amounts of payments accrued to insured persons, broken down by type. In the personal account, users will be able to search for and view insured persons’ statements based on selected criteria—such as the period during which sick leave certificates were registered, the type of statement, etc.
When generating a claim, information from the electronic sick leave certificate and the Register of Insured Persons is used. As before, separate claim forms will be prepared for electronic and paper sick leave certificates.
The maximum number of forms in a single claim must not exceed 200 copies. However, it remains possible to add comments, explanations, and attach copies of documents that may be useful during the review of the case.
