A program to replace incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs begins in February. A registration form for recipients has already been launched on the government app Diya. At the beginning of the month, the first batch of bulbs will be sent to regional centers. The exchange will take place at Ukrposhta branches.
When submitting an application, you must provide a phone number and select the nearest post office. Each household is eligible to receive just over five new bulbs. You can also receive them without prior registration in Diya. You only need to present your passport and TIN to the postal employee.
Starting February 1, the payment details for the Unified Social Contribution (USC) in Kyiv will change. The State Tax Service press office reports that payments must now be made to account 3556, opened in the name of the State Tax Service Main Directorate under reporting codes 201–204. Information about these updates can be found on the service’s website.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved changes to the procedure for paying subsidies. Government assistance will be paid to recipients in cash. Banks will not automatically transfer the funds received to the accounts of utility providers. Recipients will need to collect the funds in person at Sberbank or Ukrposhta branches.
Utility rates for gas, heat, and hot water for residential customers will not change in February. They have been “frozen” until the end of martial law, per a decision by the Cabinet of Ministers. The electricity rate will not increase at least until the end of the heating season.
For residential consumers, the price per 1 kWh is 1.44 UAH for consumption of up to 250 kWh per month. If this limit is exceeded, the rate will be 1.68 UAH/kWh.
