At least ten banks that own ATM networks have eliminated fees for cash withdrawals made with cards from other banks. According to the National Bank’s plan, this policy provides for the establishment of uniform, expanded limits and the elimination of additional fees for cash withdrawals by cardholders of other banks at ATMs.
“Today, we have already received confirmation from ten banks that own ATM networks that fees for cash withdrawals using cards from other banks have been eliminated,” said Oleksiy Shaban, Deputy Chairman of the NBU.
He also added that the withdrawal limit will be up to 20,000 UAH, depending on the ATM. According to experts at the regulator, this amount will be sufficient to cover immediate cash needs and to build up a certain cash reserve.
